Daphne E. Figueroa, Ph.D.
I’ve always been fascinated by the natural world. But in my youth, I never imagined that I would become a scientist. Then, in college, I fell in love with chemistry! Learning chemistry didn’t come easily, so I used every available resource and strategy to excel. I then discovered how much I enjoyed sharing those approaches with others and seeing their “aha!” moments. Later, as a chemistry professor, I focused on learning strategies for success and reveled in my students’ achievements. I am greatly inspired to help students develop their learning “wings” and watch them soar!
